Hi all – I'm piecing together an itinerary for a 4-week trip next March/April, and looking for ideas or suggestions on how to fit an overnight (arrive morning, leave lunch the following day) side trip cycling the Ahimanami Kaido. Not the entire route, just 2 or 3 islands, and open to starting in the middle using a ferry to get there if it works logistically – if that makes sense? It would fit between Kyoto and Hiroshima on my existing itinerary, and any suggestions of islands, boats, cycle hire, accommodation, restaurants would be really appreciated. Thanks!
