  1. Go to Akibankan in Akihabara. They have very well inspected used Macs — just about every model. Prices are good but not “cheap.”

    They also have a truly impressive stock of parts and just about any accessory you want, and they do repairs there too.

    All of the employees are macaholics and can answer just about any question you have. Just type the name of the store and add. .com and you are there.

    I think they ship (over ¥5000 for free) and will be honest about the condition of the computer you want to buy.

  2. Well, you have the 2nd hand shops like Hard off, bookoff super bazaar or 2nd street, maybe GEO also? I got my 2012 “junk” MacBook pro at hard off. Of course the more recent the more expensive. There is Mercari if you want to try online, but I won’t recommend as you’ll get no warranty on an expensive equipment… Just keep In mind that electronic is expensive in Japan and keep it’s value, not much bargains here.
