I am traveling to Japan in November and will be visiting my Japanese cousin (middle age, married with a 13 -year-old daughter).
I’m American and I want to bring them a small gift or two, something American that would be novel for them or something that they would have a difficult time getting in Japan.
He said that I don’t need to bring them anything and then I won’t have room in my luggage, etc. but of course that’s him just being very polite. I still want to bring them something.
Does anybody have any suggestions? TIA!
