We will be in Japan for a month and wondering how heavy of a coat we each should bring? Coming from northeast USA so we are used to cold winters. With a month long trip, not sure how much the cold varies from day to day? Any suggestions on how to pack- bring both really heavy coats as well as lightweight/scarf type of weather? Is it cold straight through all the time or often get nice days, peeling off the layers? TIA!
