Need advice on good International schools for my Japanese son who has limited English skills. Parents are American and Japanese citizens respectively. Son is a Year 8 student and we would like to start applications now for Aug start date at an International school. Price is a concern but we are also prioritizing schools best for increasing his English and General Science skills. We are located in north Setagaya area of Tokyo. Also looking for any discount and scholarship opportunities. This group collectively has a wealth of experience and I’d appreciate your sound advice.

What is your budget? There are a few comparison sites available if you do a little Googling.
I don’t think this is the best place to answer your question. There is a Facebook group “International Schools in Japan Info” that I think will be a better audience to answer your question. I work in an international school in the Kansai, from my experience coming in at Gr7/8 with limited English might be difficult, but I don’t know Tokyo schools. I hope you find a suitable school.
