So I was listening to KISS podcast at work. One thing that was brought up with Oiwas excursion being over is how he would return would impact the roster specially the other young guys.
One thing that came to mind would be Shota Umino. He currently in a very weird situation. Since the start of the year he's been in H.O.T vortex. He hasn't had a feud outside of it since Ospreay last year. And once around the G1 their was a definite shift in opinion of him.
There has been rumors backstage about him being a prick. And his current look and gimmick doesn't fit him at all anymore. With Oiwa closely returning I could see him returning as a face or a cool tweener.
Shota needs a definite change. And one thing that could happen is him turning heel after his match with ZSJ. There has to be a change for him without doing another excursion. If he turns heel he shouldn't join H.O.T or War Dogs.
What we could have him do is work heel and give him a manager and potential create another heel group.
