Hi, I am solo-traveling to Japan for the first time in 10 Days. So far I have planned and booked most of the things that I want to do but if you have any suggestions please let me know. Also, to me, some of these days look super packed. What do you guys think about that? Are they doable or should I remove some of the places?
Day 1:
– Arrival at the NRT airport
– Getting Cash, Wifi, and travel to Tokyo hotel
– Visiting Senso-ji, Asakusa Shrine
– Shopping at Yodobashi Akiba and nearby stores
Day 2:
– Shinobazunoike Benten-do, Marishiten Tokudaiji, Yanagimori Shrine
– Shopping at Akihabara Radio Kaikan and other nearby stores
Day 3:
– Suga Shrine, National Art Center, Meiji Jingu Shrine
– Tokyo Metro. Gov. Building
– Shibuya crossing
Day 4:
– Travel to and explore Kusatsu Onsen
– Yokoteyama Skylator
Day 5:
– Travel to Kami-kochi
– Kappa bridge and kami-kochi hike
– Shinhotaka Ropeway
Day 6:
– Travel to kyoto by train
– exploring Arashiyama
Day 7:
– Kinkaku-ji, daitoku-ji, Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, Nijo castle
– Kyoto Manga museum, Nishiki Market
Day 8:
– Fushimi Inari Taisha, Tofuku-ji & nearby shrines
– Kiyomizu-dera, Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, Yosaka Pagoda
– Gion District, Yasaka shrine, kenninji
Day 9:
– Travel to and explore Amanohashidate and Ine
Day 10:
– Fushimi sake village, Gekkeikan Okura sake museum, Byodo-in
– Travel to Nara
– Todai-ji, Kofuku-ji, Kasuga Taisha, Nara park, Yakushi-ji
– Travel to Osaka
Day 11:
– Shintennoji, Shin sekai, Kuromon Ichiba Market, Dotonbori
– Shinsaibashi-suji shopping district, Abeno Harukas Observation deck, Sumiyoshi Taisha
Day 12:
– Travel to Mt. Fuji
– Oishi park, Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, Mt. fuji panoramic Ropeway
Day 13:
– Travel to kamakura
– kamakura hasedera, Kotoku-in, Sasuke Inari Shrine, Zeniarai Benten Shrine
– Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Kencho-ji
Day 14:
– Travel to Narita
– Narirasan Shinsho-ji
– Fly back to home
Thats all. I am also planning to buy an Iaito (Metal practice katana) in Kyoto for my Iaido practice. So, if you know of any good places to buy it then comment down below. Thanks in advance. 🙂
