I've been an ALT for 7 years (5 on JET, 2 as direct hire). I've passed N1 and am interested in going into IT work.
I always hear people say that you can get a job with only N2, but all the jobs I find seem to be worse than my current one. I only work 208 days a year and get paid roughly 4 million yen.
I just can't stand my JTEs and always being an assistant to someone who is often rather incompetent.
I thought if I learn python, I could find a job that pays better and would give me more freedom. Is that actually true? Is it even worth it for someone in my situation? What else should I learn?
Thanks to anyone who tried to help.
