I'm moving to Tokyo in September and I'm looking forward to discover new clubs / location / collective / festivals there
Im a BIG Hardcore, Raw, Hardstyle and Hardtechno fan but heard in Tokyo, it's mostly about tech-house and groovy ?
What can you advise me?
As a hard music addict, should I lower my expectations ?

Is hard techno the same as hardcore and j-core?
Places that are anime-themed like Mogra and nagomix have a lot of that. clubasia and R-lounge, and various places in Shimokitazawa, also have events infrequently.
I found music I liked from playing Dance Dance Revolution. Artists who make original music for Konami games also DJ for events.
