Hello, I went on two dates with a Japanese guy and, while I know ghosting is common, I am so confused by how this played out and want to ask if I should have seen this coming.
Context: first date, we went out to dinner. He straight up asked me if I wanted a 恋人 while he was driving me home, to which I said yes.
Second date I thought went really well, mostly talking. Ended with a nice snuggle session. He said some really nice things.
We've been chatting on Line and he's been good about responding sometime that day, but it's been several days now and my messages haven't been read (I assume I've been blocked). Last things said were:
Me: あ、それと！別れた後にパートナーを見つけるのが難しかった理由を聞いたんだよ。だって、あなたがイライラしてしばらく探すのをやめたって言ってたから。(he was ok with me using あなた)
Him: 友達にキスはしないから安心して
もちろん一緒に居たいよ！
アプリでは出会いがなかったからかな
詐欺のような女性が多かった💦 (I asked him if he was sure he wanted a relationship with me because I got the "ohhhhh we're just friends" done to me already)
Me: Ah はい 😮💨 詐欺的な男性もいますが、おそらくそれほど多くはありません。
