Experience Buying Car Mainland Japan

Title says it.

I am interested in buying a car in Japan. Anyone have experience buying it, transfer the title and all the work involved? Has anyone transported personally via all the ferries? Just curious everyone's experience.

  1. We moved a car from mainland to Okinawa via ferry from Kagoshima. That’s pretty easy. I think we needed the title and registration. Be there on time. Get in line. Pay for the ticket. Travel time is about 24 hours.
