Rental workspace for private lessons

Does anyone have experience with using an hourly or daily rental workspace to teach private lessons? More specifically in Tokyo/Saitama.

I’m trying to make the shift from my Eikaiwa to private lessons, but I’m worried that cafes will be off-putting or too loud for some clients.

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Won’t all the money you earn from teaching just to paying for the rental space?

  2. I have some friends that have told me they enjoyed going to parks. Depending on the level of English you’re teaching you could even make the lesson topic have to do with nature, outdoor activities, etc.
