Keio University housing

I’m gonna be doing a semester exchange at Keio (taking classes at Mita) in April 2025. I am curious if anyone familiar with the school recommends dorms (which are far from campus) or getting a short term apartment closer to the city. I am ok with the prices for both options but my main concern is if living off campus will make it difficult to make friends. Would love to hear from those who’ve studied abroad at Keio or knows anyone who has.
