Finding a job and working in Osaka (working holiday)

Hello everyone!

Next week I'm moving to Osaka with my boyfriend on a WHV. My main reason for coming to Japan is to improve my Japanese, so I'd like to stay for one year (maximum I'm allowed on a WHV), but that all depends on the job I find and that's what I'd like to ask about. I have savings to get me through the first few months, but I'd like to find a job sooner rather than later. I have an N2 certificate, I'm not from an English-speaking country, but I grew up in Ireland, so I think I basically speak native English (I don't hold citizenship though so I have nothing to prove it unfortunately), and have some experience in translation, data entry, tutoring and customer service.

I am a really nervous person though, and so I'm super anxious and stressed that I won't be able to find anything, and if I do, it won't be enough to stay the one year. So I'd like to ask if it's hard to find an okay-paying job in Osaka for someone with my skills? Is it a very expensive city to live in? I'm rather thrifty and will be splitting costs with my boyfriend, so I hope my expenses won't be very high. I'd like to do some sightseeing though.

I browsed some job sites, but still I'm not sure and would like to hear some advice or simply reassurance from people.

Thank you!
