JR East ‘150 year anniversary’ pass, are the 3 days consecutive?

JR East is [offering a travel pass](https://www.jreast.co.jp/150th/campaign/00014/) for “Unlimited rides on all JR East lines and other railway lines (7 companies) for 3 days” (Includes Shinkansen).

My question is are those 3 days consecutive from when you activate the pass? Or can you pick any three days, in the valid period (Friday, October 14, 2022 to Thursday, October 27). From the wording google translate provides me, I suspect the former (consecutive), but I have used rail passes in Japan before that were non consecutive, which surprised me, so wondering if this might be one of those.

  1. It’s consecutive days. Basically it’s JR East Tohoku Pass reduced to 3 days and with 4 shinkansen ride limit in reserved cars (meaning max 4 rides on Kagayaki, Hayabusa/Komachi since they are all-reserved seats), but also available to residents of Japan.

Non-consecutive day passes are out of circulation, chiefly, because the passes can be used on gates (rather than using manned entrance).
