Any folks with children here leave their full-time job to become a stay at home parent? Do you regret your decision? Why/ why not? Did you/ are you planning to go back to work when your child reaches a certain age? What was your experience like?
The idea of leaving my seishain job to spend more time with my kids (pre-K ages) has been sitting at the back of my mind for some time, but the fact that seishain status is infamously difficult to regain after a significant blank has me going back and forth between the pros (getting to watch the kids grow; less stress with time management) and cons (tighter finances; higher risk with only spouse's income) unable to decide.
Would love to hear experiences and thoughts from others who have been in this situation.
