Addressing a Japanse person with lastname-San or mentioning another Japanese person with lastname-San I get it.
But my Japanese colleague will refer to
another non-Japanese colleague as first name – San. Should I do the same, it feels I bit unnatural for me to do so, if talking to a Japanese colleague?
