I bought at the start of the month some shoes on the online shop 夢展望 as a present for my girlfriend, but because of the size she could not wear it and I asked on the website for a refound because they accept it if it's a size problem.
I sent it back, waited two weeks for them to check if I could get a refound or not, and they considered it was okay and sent me a mail to get the refound, with a bank transfer or another method that I forgot.
The thing is that they sent this mail on the afternoon of 09/27, telling me it would only be valid until… 09/27.
Yes, they basically send me a mail in the afternoon and tell me that I can only get my refound by doing the procedure on the exact same day, which was impossible since I was not home for the day, and was of course not checking my phone every hour to see my mails (especially after they make me wait 2 weeks).
I understand that it's probably a trick so they can avoid refounding as much as possible, by pretending that it's your fault for not doing it at time, which is technically correct, and I guess in Japan it's legal to do tricks like that but that's really disgusting :')
I contacted they by mail but I'm pretty sure they will just send me an automatic message saying that's it's so zannen, that they hope I buy in their store again but right now I'm really pissed off, I'll try to call them tomorrow but I don't see what I can do, maybe pretend that I received the mail after the limit time or something like that ?
