Hellohello!
I'm planning to travel with the JR West All Area Pass in between Kyoto, Osaka, Miyajima and Kanazawa and finally from Kanazawa to an Onsen town near Nagano with the Hokuriku Shinkansen. Of course I want to make the most out of the Area Pass which is on this route valid until Jōetsumyōkō.
Is it possible to buy and use in advance a ticket in-between Jōetsumyōkō and Nagano so that I can stay in the train or do I have to hopp-off, buy a ticket an get the next train (which is two hours later)? Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
