I want to jump rope for exercise and would like to know socially acceptable places to do it at. I presume neighborhood parks are okay and in front of my apartment is not okay.

It’s hard to tell since we don’t know what the front of your apt building looks like but unless it’s super busy, I don’t see why you couldn’t jump rope there.
I was going to suggest on the train during rush hour but it seems like a lot of haters frown on that nowadays.
