When I was watching Destruction in Kobe today I had the realization that this was the first time I was very excited for the return of a former Young Lion from excursion, and with that I now feel like I’m no longer a “newer” fan of NJPW. For context I’ve been getting back into pro wrestling in genera for the past year and a half and over this time it’s been the first time I’ve tried following NJPW and loving it. So I’m just curious when everyone else felt they could drop the newer label and would just call themselves a fan of NJPW.
