Grad school questions (Biology / Data Sci fields)

Hi, I’m a South Korean currently living in the United States, attending college here as a data science bs major.

I’ve been living abroad from my home country and I figured out that I want to experience life in Japan as well. I also heard Japanese colleges are famous for their techs related to biology. It would be good if I can earn more income than S Korea, and have great opportunities to pursue my study of biology.

So.. my questions are…

How is it difficult for foreigners to have a job in Japan in terms of biology / data sci related fields?

Is there anyone who got a job in Japan after finishing grad school? Can you please give me some tips?

Are there high demands in biology / data sci jobs?

  1. If you’re looking for *higher* salaries than in South Korea, Japan is probably not the place to be looking.
