I have a trip scheduled for the first half of November in Hokkaido to see the Fall leaves based on the fall forecast I saw in September (the n-kishou one). I validated it again October 1st when they updated it and it was mostly the same, Hokkaido was listed as peaking in late October-early November. But now I am seeing tons of news outlets reporting out of nowhere that the leaves have already hit their peak season in Northern Hokkaido and by the time I get there it'll already be over. Trying to scour social media to see if I can discern but its hard to date all the pictures. Does anyone know what the most reliable source is for the fall leaf viewing peak times?
