Hello, we are a family of 4 (kids are 7 and 3.5) from London, UK visiting Japan from 26th Oct – 9th Nov.
It's our first time visiting so we're planning to spend most of our time in Tokyo and Kyoto, but we're also keen to get away from the cities and off the beaten track a bit, so we're planning to visit the Kiso Valley too.
Would love some feedback and recommendations on our itinerary – what are we missing? Are we trying to do too much with small kids? Any ideas for things they'll enjoy? We don't expect to stick rigidly to this (depending on energy levels!) but keen to make sure we have an idea of what we want to do each day.
The kids are pretty happy walking good distances and are pretty adventurous generally, but we'll have a pram for our 3 year old.
