I am a 30 yr old Male living and working in Japan. I am switching jobs while my PR is in process.
I have heard that though switching jobs during PR is Ok until unless you pay your taxes, pensions and the points are not reduced. Another aspect was that you shouldn’t have a gap between jobs.
My next job can also accept my first day as 1st of any month or Mondays only. So, if I will my current job on a Friday, and then join the next on Monday, will it be considered as a gap?
Do I need to worry about Taxes or Pensions for these 2 days? Because technically I will be unemployed and worried who will be paying these?
Though I will talk to my current employer to keep my Last working day on a Sunday, but worried if they will allow it?
Has anyone been in this situation before?
Please advise !
