BJJ and Kickboxing Recommendations

I'm looking for BJJ (Gi) and kickboxing gyms near Shinjuku, Shibuya, Shimokitazawa, or Yoyogi Uehara. I plan to train BJJ 12-15 times and kickboxing 4-8 times a month.

BJJ

I have a trial lesson scheduled at Carpe Diem Shibuya. I'm also considering Triforce Shinjuku due to its convenient location—they seem to offer classes almost daily. Other Carpe Diem locations like Aoyama, Setagaya, Hiroo, Mita and Jiyugaoka are a bit too far with multiple transfers, so they’re not ideal for now. I'm surprised there are no BJJ-specific gyms in Shimokitazawa or Yoyogi Uehara.

Kickboxing

I’m looking for a semi-personal kickboxing gym. I tried Target Shibuya and liked it, but it’s a bit far from Shibuya Station. I’m scheduling trials with Rangers Shibuya (they seem partnered with Carpe Diem Shibuya) and Refinas Shibuya, which is similar to Target but newer and less expensive. Ideally, Carpe Diem Shibuya and either Rangers or Refinas would be my best combo, but I’m open to exploring other options.

Rowing

Are there any active rowing clubs in Tokyo? I’ve been using the Concept2 rowing machine but would like to get back to rowing on the water. Contacted clubs that used to train in the Tamagawa river, but they don't seem to be active anymore.

Shogi

I want to learn shogi basics and get out of my comfort zone. Most classes I’ve found are for children or women. Are there any beginner shogi classes near Shibuya, Shinjuku, Shimokitazawa, or Yoyogi Uehara? I've just created an account on Shogidojo24 and I'm studying the basics online. I'll try to analyze games, openings, so Shogidojo24 will be put on hold for a year, at least, before I start testing myself.
