Old landlord keeps harassing me about unpaid cleaning fee.

I moved out of a LiveMax apartment about half a year ago.

The cleaning fee was a little under 32000 yen. I however misplaced the move out cleaning fee invoice and emailed them for another.

They told me to pay the fee of 38500.

I ended up finding the paper but only focused on the account to send it to.

So I did a furikomi at the ATM and send 38500. I thought this was a done deal. So I didn’t really think about it anymore.

So it’s been about half a year. I got a call from the guarantor company that the management company is claiming that I never paid my move out fee of 32000 yen. But I paid way more than that.

I sent them my information via email, account number, date, amount, screenshot of my jp post app transaction list , and picture of the account I sent it to.

GTN is claiming livemax can’t find the transaction.

So I went to the bank and explained what’s happening, the branch manager called livemax’s bank as written on the paper. Their bank confirmed the money was sent and deposited correctly, except I made the mistake of making the sender of the furikomi LiveMax. They told me to advise LiveMax that the sender name was wrong so they need to look for that.

I did. But they’re still claiming I never paid it.

Can I just ignore them? Call the police for harassment? Sue them for wasting my time?
