Howdy all – me and my partner have 3 weeks in Japan relatively soon oct 26th and my planning is scarce to none – to start with I’m trying to figure out which cities to visit and in which order to make it most efficient. I’ve looked at train passes, other than one for our time heading down to Hiroshima/Osaka region, most of them don’t fit our “current” schedule so well.
I’m happy to move things around or get rid of things entirely, just looking for advice on:
- Is this a good plan – its hard organizing for places you don't now much about so am happy to be proven wrong for any decisions i've made
- Is it very feasible transport wise
- Is there places I should cut out (e.g nights in Matsumoto, or Miyajima) or ADD
current plan is 4 days Tokyo, 2 days Matsumoto, 2 days Takayama (are there 4 days too long?), 2 days Kanazawa, 3 days Kyoto, 2 days Osaka (trips to Nara and maybe Koyasan in these last two areas), 1 day Hiroshima, 1 day Miyajima Island, back to Osaka, 2 days Haone and surrounding lakes, then 3 days Tokyoish.
Thanks!! – feel free to shred me
