Hi! Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but…
I moved to Japan this year and my hobby is cosplay. I've done a ton of research on it but I feel that the more I read, the more confused I get. I'd really like it if someone could just sit down with me and explain the rules to me like I'm 5 lol.
Basically, I bought a ticket for the Animate Girls Festival in November, planning to cosplay there. But then as I looked more into it, apparently the cosplay part is held separately by Acosta? And I need a separate ticket for it?
And on the Acosta website, it says I cannot enter or leave the venue in cosplay. I know it's a big rule here and I'm aware of the changing rooms culture etc… but the tickets for changing rooms for Acosta are sold out.
So, does this basically mean I have no way to cosplay at this event anymore? I was really looking forward to it. 🙁
