I will be heading to Kyoto during Autumn. Is it a good idea to join one of the bus tour advertised online to visit most of the major historical sites in Kyoto, especially since the sites are quite spread around the whole of Kyoto.
Context: i will be spending 4 days in Kyoto and Im planning to visit most of the galleries and museums. Museum visits will take hours each time. Hence I doubt with such itinerary I will have much time to visit all the other Kyoto marvels. I was thinking, maybe dedicating one day to join a tour will serve like a crash course for me to get to know those site, without having to plan so much about travel arrangements etc. So what do you think?
