My family and I will be traveling Japan for three weeks starting at the end of the month. Our general hope was to pack extremely light and go clothing shopping as a fun excursion in the first couple days after we arrive. We have recently been told that might not be a good idea for our size of humans though, and I'm wondering how accurate that is or is not.
I'm a thin 6' 2" male (188cm) with longer than average arms for my height and am concerned I might not find shirts with long enough sleeves readily available. My sister is 5'9" (175cm) and on the larger size of body type. Not really big, but wears size large in North America.
Are we going to have a hard time finding appropriate clothing? Is there specific stores we should go to? Specific ones we should avoid so as to not become dismayed?
Thank you!
