pretty much the title. I have really flat feet that have recently taken a turn for the worse. I try to wear my orthopedic old man sneakers as much as I can and I have insoles in other shoes for meetings, etc., but even my custom insoles are no longer cutting it, so essentially I need plain orthopedic dress shoes. I’ve searched online to no avail, and my experience in shoe stores around tokyo is generally that they don’t have any supportive shoes (besides running shoe stores). I know orthopedic/supportive dress shoes exist in the USA but I was wondering if it’s possible to get your hands on any here. Thanks

ASICS has dress shoe stores and will measure your feet/arch and “build” a Runwalk dress shoe for you. I started using them when I had metatarsalgia a few years ago and they were by far the most comfortable dress shoe I’d worn.
ASICS has formal walking shoes. I have been using them quite happily I need arch support.
