How much of a difference does having 5 extra points make on the hoikuen application?
I appreciate it's difficult to have a confident answer but we're trying to understand if it's worth cutting our childcare leave short for this. Otherwise the only thing we've got going for us is that we both work full-time and have no other nearby relatives to help.
Would the 5 points make a such a difference that our kid might not get a spot at all if we don't cut the leave short?
