I've booked a private ryokan onsen and Tokyo accommodation and will insert Tokyo activities. There's now this gap of about 6.5 to 7 days.
Given this is our first time in Japan; after crawling of posts and media I'm inclined to use Osaka as a base and do day trips around there. But there's a whole bunch of stuff that's frankly not interesting including:
- Studios
- Temples
- Museums
- Castles
- Hikes
- The influencer / popular stuff like Arashiyama, Koyasan, Aquarium, Teamlabs etc (basically anything that pops up as a parroted recommendation)
Kind of just left with eating. Could just be the tremendous amount of staring at the same attractions / activities in planning this trip and same influencer videos and threads.
Anyone do something different that turned out awesome and unique? If you could add why that would be sweet!
