Is it possible to work in Japan with MA degree without having a BA?

A friend of mine is currently persuing an Online MA from the University for the Creative Arts, London. However, he doesn't have a BA degree. He got admitted to the MA program based on his previous 3 years of incomplete studies at a French Institution where he earned 180 Ects credits. He also had some prior work experiences.

Now he says he wants to work in Japan after completing his MA degree. Is it even possible? Does japanese immigration consider applicants who finished Masters degrees but have no Bachelors degree?
