Hi, I’m a 55 year old male looking to leave my career job to finish my working life as an ALT in northern Japan. Taught at the university level in Canada and lived in Japan for 3 years. Lots here on Interac, both negative and positive. Not concerned about the salary, more about the teaching experience, day to day teaching life and work load. Can anyone that has input to these topics please share? What is the expectation regarding driving from class to class? Reimbursement of driving costs? Thank you in advance for your time!
