Any gamer dad/mom living in Japan with tight schedule but still loves gaming?
Ever since I became a father, my gaming time have decreased by a lot, but recently have gained gaming time since my beautiful daughter sleeps throughout the night now. Curious to see if there is any gamer dad/mom in Japan who wants to link up to play any kind of game?
Before having kids (bless them), I was a pretty avid gamer, now I juggle work, gym, family time and the remaining time to decompress through my favorite entertainment (gaming).

I’m dad (2 years old) used to play a lot .
Now I’m playing stray and last of us part 1.
I play when he go sleep (I don’t use tv when he is nearby). I don’t do online but would be nice to try those 4 Co op zombie games .
It’s tough. My kid is 2.5 now, but the first two years or so were really hard to find time to play. You just have to wait it out.
That being said, something mobile like a switch obviously helps. I can’t play PS5 at night because the light from the tv will keep him up in the other room, so handheld switch works well. (ahem too bad there aren’t any games I like to play on there ahem)
I bought a Backbone for my iphone and that really changed my ability to play PS games through remote play. It’s damn near 100% perfect on my home network, but going out and using data or hot spots is dicey for action games. Anyway, it allows me to play PS at night and I really like the device. A bit pricey but it has a quality feel to it and it really does work well. I suggest looking into this.
Early 30s. Wife and I both will not be having children. Wife decided that wasn’t what she wanted. I play PC and pretty much my free time goes to gaming when I’m not out with my local friends. Everything from indie jump scares to gachas to MMORPGs to triple A FPS
Just tried ranking in dead by daylight and made rank 4 iridescent surv. Helped my friend bag his rank 1 achievement.
As for the wife: she’s pretty particular but has been a long time FFXIV player (doesn’t do ultimates or savages like I do but she enjoys much more of the game than I do as a whole), she sometimes gets on one of our two VR headsets for VR chat memes and has been totally stuck staring at genshin when she’s not doing art commissions.
