Notes:

* This is not my 1st trip to Japan. Previously I have visited Tokyo-Izu-Mt.Fuji, Tokyo-Hokkaido, Tokyo-Nagano-Hokuriku, Osaka-Kyushu. I’ll save Tohoku for my next visit (hopefully next year).
* We have booked hotel in Osaka (14 days) as our base and additional stay at Koyasan, Tokyo, and Hakone. We are captivated by Osaka and don’t want carry around any luggage when traveled between city.
* On day 5, we’re planning to visit Itsukushima when the tide is high at noon (we have visited when the tide is low, so we want to experience high tide).
* On day 8, we already bought Justin Bieber concert at Kyocera Dome (my wife is his fan, but I hope the concert is being cancelled so we can add another day in Kanto Area).
* I want to enjoy fall foliage, what other place should I visit?

  1. Are you planning to do a day trip to Hiroshima? I usually tell people to avoid that, as the Peace Memorial and Museum is a really somber and heavy place, and I don’t think you should or would want to feel like you’re under any time pressure. At least overnight in Hiroshima, probably the night before, so you can have as much time as possible and either leave in the evening when everything is closed anyway or the next morning.
