Can anyone here recommend any good NAATI translators you know of who can affordably translate documents (e.g. 戸籍謄本, 出産届受理証明書) for submitting to the Australian government? Thanks.
This is the perfect question for me. I had to get a ton of documents translated for my kid’s first passport and Satoru Sakaguchi was quick, reasonably priced, and lives here in Japan so the finished documents were sent through Yu-Pack.

Have you used the search function on NAATI website? Not sure if these results are going to be cached, but there’s 11 listed for Japan: https://www.naati.com.au/online-directory/?require=translator&for=%5B639,767,1393%5D
also u/talsit seems to have used one based on a [previous thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/comments/s5acp2/registering_a_japanborn_childs_name_in_australia/hsyg7wd/) so they might recommend something.

Here’s [his website](https://dinkumsaka.wixsite.com/translator) and will be my go-to translator for the Australian embassy going forward.
