Hakata Menbo Akanoren (博多麺房赤のれん) is a tonkotsu ramen shop in Roppongi, Tokyo, which traces its roots all the way back to a yatai ramen cart in Fukuoka in the South of Japan.
Akanoren is perfectly serving the booze fueled clientele, offering a perfect bowl of ramen to take the edge off after a long night, being open until 5am definitely helps too. Their tonkotsu ramen is not very funky and has a slight creaminess to it. Nothing too extreme in terms of flavor, however there is lots of variety offered on the counter, to make the bowl your own.
