I saw an app called torii and I also know there’s an anki deck for the core 10k. I’m just curious what the most efficient way to study them would be? I guess any would be effective as long as I stick to the method, but I’d like to optimize it.

That’s pretty subjective since everyone learns differently to meet different goals at different paces. For example, I despise prebuilt decks and would never ever tell someone who has a similar stance to my own to go and start with a deck containing ten thousand words as their first step. Some people might suggest exactly that.
One thing I feel is more objective, though, is: Whatever method you go with, be *consistent* about it. Of course, you’ll have to settle into the routine, which isn’t always easy if it turns out your first pick wasn’t a good match for you.
