I recently upgraded from the Mobal v1 sim to a new plan they only offer if you get their v2 sim for whatever reason.
Anyways it was supposed to offer more high speed data at a lower price than their previous offerings but after switching and installing the sim I’m finding the new data to be incredibly slow compared to the previous plan and sim. Anyone else experienced this?

Most important question: why are you on Mobal if you’re a resident here? They are a service for tourists.
Second question: If something wasn’t broke, why did you try and fix it?
Anyway, its entirely possible with the “new plan” they moved you from one carrier to another (since they’re a MVNO), for example softbank to docomo or the other way around, and your phone either lacks LTE bands for it or you’re in worse coverage area etc.
You should ditch them and switch to a normal provider for residents.
