Not like it’s a bad thing, especially for families and such, but….. people in Tokyo, Kyoto and tourists spots, we know how the end of the year will turn out and for people with anxiety, who became crowds avoidant and the ones with social anxiety etc, it’s going to be tough until we get used to it again since it’s been a while. Courage.
Somehow just feel free to let the anxiety out or to complain or to share your thoughts.

We need a sticky of this. I swear I saw this question daily at this point.
I just hope they adapt to how things are now and don’t act like entitled idiots if a shopkeeper or museum staff ask them to wear a mask.
They won’t reach pre Corona numbers. Since 1/3rd of tourists in 2019 were from China.
No anxiety at all.
It will help boost the anemic economy of Japan.
More no mask people will « liberate » more Japanese to remove their mask , as they are afraid to take initiative,
It will create a virtuous cycle for economy and return to no mask.
But getting back tourist level will take time , as Chinese won’t be there.
