I’m a good little sheeple that wears a mask everywhere and understands that Japan has sovereignty to do as it pleases when it comes to health, isolation, borders etc. While many of Japan’s actions during the pandemic have been extreme, I fully acquiesce to the country’s right to do as it pleases, on a national and personal level. Whatever. Get over it.

   But GODDAMN this news story is absolutely mental. The Japanese have lost their collective mind with masks at this point.

   Someone tell Aso that this is a code red Mindo alert. Dropping like a stone.

8. Japanese love to virtue signal, that’s why they’re all still wearing masks. Even outside with nobody else around or alone in their cars. It’s got nothing to do with health at this point, it’s more about not wanting to be seen as a bad person in public without a mask.
