I have tachiyomi for translated manga but I want to find some raws and so far I’m not having any luck doing so. Is there a good resource for raw manga?

  1. So, I’m going to put my two cents in and suggest the “spend money” option. There are plenty of free options too, like just searching for raw manga scans online but occasionally I partake in spending some money. Go to ebay, find a whole or partial collection or just a mixed box of manga in Japanese. Purchase, collect and consume. Just make sure in the details of the listing they’re actually in Japanese. I found the whole Pluto series in Japanese for about 40 bucks. Pluto is amazing if you haven’t read it by the way. Really instills some existential dread if you don’t already have enough in your life.

  2. There are some options that are both free and legal!

    * [Shonen Jump+](https://shonenjumpplus.com/) offers the first few chapters of their series for free
    * [Bookwalker](https://bookwalker.jp/free/), [Honto](https://honto.jp/cp/ebook/recent/free.html?cid=ip_hpp_keyword_03) and [Sokuyomi](https://sokuyomi.jp/free.html) all have a limited offer of free manga and novels
    * [Comico](https://www.comico.jp/) and [Mangaz](https://www.mangaz.com/) host web manga you can read for free

Also, depending on your level, I’d recommend giving [Crystal Hunters](https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/80075613) a try. It’s a manga written for learners of Japanese and comes with [annotations](https://crystalhuntersmanga.com/free-stuff/). The first volume is completely free.

  3. Tachiyomi has japanese sources too. Don’t expect good quality from anything but the official sources tho. I’d also recommend manga up! it blocks ocr apps tho.
