  1. ebi-seri? It doesn’t really come to mind since celery isn’t super common in Japanese food. But the sauce looks like an ankake sauce. Though the seeds look out of place.

    It looks different to the photo you posted though.

  3. It’s likely a home cooked dish, stir fry celery with shrimp covered in ankake sauce. It might be more common in southern coastal regions of Japan. My mother makes similar dish. It would be hard to find this dish in restaurants or the recipe online. It is a fairly homely dish. Taiwanese cuisine has similar dish, especially in Hakka cuisine. They would add squid or dried scallops.
