Preschool to ES and MEXT by extension want English to be a fun and engaging experience to build intrigue at this age.
If you’re a speech therapist then your experience could be overqualified or mismatched unless this is a special needs school.
It should be just making fun and engaging activities that use the target language and you should be good.
Make sure you’re genki and it’s clear that you can keep your cool around young children. Don’t get hung up on technical details at the preschool level.
Is it an international school or a bilingual school? The expectations and goals are different.
Be prepared mentally if you get the job. Working at a preschool is pure hell here.
