Anybody having the same issue? I’m getting plenty of sms. Amazon arubaito, instagram follower, meta, yahoo, iCloud, some of them are completely in Chinese.
All with same stuff, easy money add me in line.
What worry me most is that sometimes I get a message same day or time i get Amazon delivery in my building inbox. Saying that I need to pay for the item or I need to go somewhere to take it. All fake, my box is completely safe.
I do buy Amazon a lot , I don’t think those drivers are getting my info.
Any tip to stop it not changing phone number?

I have docomo and I always report it as spam through this menu option その他→迷惑メール報告
Also sometimes these come from the same domain so if it’s a spammy domain, I block it entirely through the d menu.
These spam mails come and go. You can’t stop them completely unfortunately.
What carrier did you choose for your mobile service? I wish to avoid them :p – decent companies should offer a base line level of filtering for obviously fraudulent sms
Don’t trust *anything* that comes in as an SMS. If you have not enabled receiving texts like that from a company, they won’t text you like that with anything important. I could be in prison for all the taxes I withheld but could’ve conveniently paid in Bitcoin. But I’m not.
If there is anything wrong with your Amazon order it will be on their your orders page. Keep a tab open in your browser so you can quickly check. But ignore anything in the text message. And for the love of all the kami-sama everywhere, do not click on any links.
Same is true for email btw if you want to stay safe. It’s easy to make a realistic looking corporate email clone and send it to you from anazon.co.jp – just one letter off! Don’t click on the link in the email, always log in like you would without the email. If there is a problem, they will alert you to it here. And if there isn’t one then you’ve just avoided getting phished.
For months, I’ve been getting a sms that says that my payment for my prime account didn’t go through. It’s really annoying because blocking it doesn’t help, they just send from a slightly different mail address.
