Module shower/bath smell prevention

I am in a bit of quarry one would say.

I ha ve no window in my modular shower room (obviously).

Im having trouble controlling the smell. I have bought anti mold products (the smoke “bomb” coating) thing and seems to pretty effective during the summer but I still feel it never really smells nice. How do you do guys air out your shower? Or do you have any products to recommend to keep the shower “fresh”? Not saying that it needs to smell like a garden but in a small apartment, a smelly shower is annoying to say the least.

So, any products to recommend?

EDIT: Clean the shower once a week (drain etc)

thank you and have a nice day

  1. I use a squeegee after showering to clean every flat surface, so it dries asap. And once I. A while I spray カビキラー and leave it there for 30 min before cleaning it off. I leave the fan running all the time, with the door closed. I also clean the floor and other surfaces with a soapy product and a strong brush.

  2. Buy a little silicone squeegee and scrape down the walls after your shower or bath. Your don’t have to be overly thorough – just a 10 seconds or so. It will dry much faster afterwards.

Also, does your bathtub have a removable front? Many models do and a lot of unseen mold can build up there.

  3. Could be a drain causing the smell. Get cleaner for them and take them apart if you can to get something to scrub in it.
