So, I’m married to a Japanese citizen and we have one 7yr old child. I’m in my late 30’s if it makes a difference.
Due to various events beyond our control we have to move back to Japan (Saitama area).
My career for the past 18 years has been in gas heating in Europe, my Japanese isn’t great, N3 at best but I’ll need a job when we relocate within half a year.
I’ve been studying part time online towards a comp sci bachelor’s for a couple of years and though I’ve not completed it, I’ve learned a lot and have been self-teaching myself python for a while and trying to advance my Japanese also.
Is a tech related job achievable for myself? I am certainly willing to take entry level roles to build experience.
Or is teaching English for 200000Â¥ my only choice??
Thank you

I am not sure about being European but as an American you must have a completed Bachelor degree to be a teacher sense you will have a visa via your wife you can apply for other jobs as long as they do not require a bachelor’s degree. I had a few interviews with It companies but was never offered the job I do not currently have a bachelor’s degree
